I know Putin: Polish presidential candidate Trzaskowski spoke out about Ukraine's accession to NATO.

The Polish presidential candidate has refused to pledge regarding NATO
The Polish presidential candidate from the ruling party, Mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski, has refused to sign a declaration that includes a pledge not to allow Ukraine to join NATO. According to information from Radio Zet, this declaration was proposed by the ultranationalist politician Slawomir Mentzen.
"If there are no security guarantees, Putin will arm himself and go further. Poland must strive for the acceptance of Ukraine into NATO," Trzaskowski stated.
Presidential candidates Trzaskowski and Nawrocki responded to Mentzen's proposal and attended a meeting where they discussed their positions on Ukraine's accession to NATO. At the end of the conversation, Trzaskowski stated that he could not support the demand not to adopt a law on Ukraine's accession to NATO.
"I know Putin very well and I closely monitor him. He understands only the language of power," he explained.
Trzaskowski also expressed a position against sending Polish troops to Ukraine. He believes that Poland should strive for Ukraine's accession to NATO and noted that potentially this could happen in 10-15 years.
Currently, the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO has become a topic of discussion in Polish political circles and has sparked various opinions among the presidential candidates.
