Denmark invests 628 million dollars in Ukraine's defense industry.

Denmark and Ukraine signed an investment agreement in the military industry
Denmark and Ukraine signed an investment agreement worth 4.2 billion Danish kroner (approximately $628 million) in Ukraine's defense industry. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark.
According to the agreement, signed by Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen and his Ukrainian colleagues - Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, Denmark will finance the production of weapons and equipment in Ukraine. "This strengthens the ability of Ukrainians to produce exactly the weapons that are in demand," Poulsen noted.
The funding consists of two parts: 1.3 billion kroner allocated by the Danish government with the support of parliament, and 2.9 billion kroner from frozen Russian assets, which Denmark will convert into cash on behalf of the EU.
Previously, Denmark had allocated 130 million kroner (over 16 million euros) to support Ukraine's energy system. In addition, on September 20, Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov announced the receipt of 40.7 million euros in aid from Denmark to the Ministry of Defense accounts for Ukrainian production.
