A potentially hazardous asteroid is approaching Earth.

The asteroid 387746 (2003 MH4) will pass close to Earth
On Saturday, May 24, the asteroid 387746 (2003 MH4) will pass near Earth. It is 366 meters long and is considered potentially hazardous. The information was provided by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
2003 MH4 will be at a distance of 6,676,580 km from Earth. This celestial object falls under the category of 'potentially hazardous' asteroids if it approaches our planet at a distance of less than 7.4 million km and its size exceeds 150 meters.
The approach of the asteroid to Earth is expected on May 24, 2025, at 13:36:42 UTC. This is a similar situation to what occurred in September 2024 when the asteroid 2024 ON passed near Earth at a distance of about 1 million kilometers.
Scientists are exploring the possibility of using asteroids for future interplanetary missions. They have already identified 120 candidates for routes between Earth, Venus, and Mars.
