Heraskevych assessed 17-year-old Lavrenyuk's chances of obtaining an Olympic license.

Ukrainian skeleton racer Yaroslav Lavrenyuk is facing difficulties in obtaining an Olympic license due to low results in the world ranking. Currently, he is ranked 40th-50th, and to obtain a license, he needs to be in the top 25. Lavrenyuk needs to improve his skills, particularly in piloting. However, his main goal is to obtain the Olympic license, which requires a lot of work and progress.
At the World Skeleton Championship, Yaroslav Lavrenyuk finished in 21st place. He set a personal record but could not improve his standings in the tournament table. Heraskevych expressed his outrage over the citizenship change of gymnast Illia Kovtun and his coach Iryna Horbacheva, stating that they received significant financial support from the state but betrayed their homeland.
