Head of the Border Community in Sumy Region: The Situation is Truly Critical.

The head of the Khotyn community Mykola Toriak spoke about the difficult situation in the region, where out of 14 settlements, only two can be reached with some risk, as the other settlements are already considered dead villages. The area borders three districts of the Kursk region and faces constant shelling and the occupation of some villages.
"Constant shelling, artillery, some villages are already occupied - the situation is truly critical both for our community and for the entire border area. We are currently carrying out evacuations from Pisarivka and Khotyn," emphasized Toriak.
Toriak also noted that the situation has significantly worsened after the enemy returned to the border following the Kursk operation. He describes constant shelling, the dominance of drones and Grad rocket systems, as well as the activity of mortars, which adds irritability to the settlement of the Khotyn community.
