The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Lithuania is investing 10 million euros in the production of the 'Palyanytsya' drone missile, using the 'Danish model' of direct financing.
The details of the financing were discussed during the conversation between the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Serhii Boiev, and the Deputy Minister of National Defense of Lithuania, Monika Korolioviene.
"Acquiring capabilities to strike enemy targets at a long distance is a priority for Ukraine. We encourage our partners to invest in our own production of long-range weapons. Financing following the 'Danish model' will allow achieving results faster and will not leave the enemy waiting," said Serhii Boiev.
Serhii Boiev also thanked the Lithuanian side for their leadership in the Demining Coalition and active participation in the Drone Coalition.
"Lithuania is a committed partner of Ukraine. We strive for effective assistance and seek the most practical ways to use it," stated Monika Korolioviene.
