The prices of sausage, bacon, and hard cheese changed in October in large supermarkets, reports the Ministry of Finance.
Sausage products, bacon, and hard cheeses continue to rise in price. Some items have significantly increased in price compared to last month. Here are the prices as of October 24.
According to price monitoring data, the doctor boiled sausage "Alan" now costs on average 379.64 UAH per kilogram. The minimum price for this product is 299 UAH/kg (in "Megamarket"), the maximum is 434 UAH/kg (in "Novus"). Alan milk sausage can be purchased for 136.27 UAH/kg, Ashan doctor for 309.90 UAH/kg.
Bacon "Ukrprompostach" has become even more expensive - its average price increased from 427.45 to 449.08 UAH per kilogram. The price of bacon varies from 413.80 UAH (in "Megamarket") to 479.52 UAH (in "Metro").
Regarding hard cheeses, a kilogram of Dutch cheese "Lanky Hora" (45% fat) now costs an average of 476.50 UAH, which is slightly less than in September. In "Ashan" it can be found for 375 UAH/kg, and in "MegaMarket" - up to 534.60 UAH/kg.
Traditional cheese "Komo" (50% fat) has also become more expensive - the average price is 476.67 UAH/kg compared to 413.91 UAH in September. The price difference between stores reaches 75 hryvnias: from 435.66 UAH in "Metro" to 511.10 UAH in "Ashan".
Also in Ukraine, the prices for sunflower oil, bread, and lard have risen.
