Monobank updates interface: what's new and how to refuse the changes.

Ukrainian bank Monobank has introduced an update to its application
The Ukrainian bank Monobank has unveiled a revamped design for its app, which marks its first major update in the last six years. The in-house development team worked on the update for four months to expand the bank's functionality.
Previously, the app's design was focused on the black card, but with the emergence of new products such as the FOP account and various services, there was a need to update the interface for convenient placement of all functionalities.
The updated app features a new blue gradient and an optimized interface. On the main screen, users can see their card, balance, and information about recent transactions. Navigation between cards is done via swipe, and access to the overall statement is a swipe in the opposite direction.
At the top of the screen, there are icons for expense statistics, messages, and settings.
The utilities payment section has been revamped for easy storage of addresses and supplier details.
Moreover, the referral program has received a new design with a blue-purple gradient and an interactive cat.
Starting from version 5.0.3 dated October 21, 2024, the app no longer supports reverting to the old design. The updated design has become permanent, and the bank has discarded the previous look of the app.
Popular sections such as cashback, savings, and loans remained largely unchanged.
The new app retains the main features in an easily accessible menu, including payments by IBAN and transfers to a card. A one-touch card settings management feature has also been added.
