Monobank simplifies transfers in dollars and euros: who can now receive money in foreign currency

The Ukrainian digital bank Monobank has introduced a new service that allows customers to officially transfer currency to their close relatives. This was announced by the bank's co-founder Oleg Gorokhovskyi.

According to the announcement, users can now transfer dollars or euros to Monobank cards of their relatives, provided they submit documents proving their kinship. 'You can transfer dollars or euros to your close relatives on the Monobank card if you send us a photo of the documents proving your kinship,' Gorokhovskyi noted.

The service is available for a wide range of relatives, including spouses, children, sisters, brothers, and nephews, grandmothers, grandfathers, and grandchildren, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. To make a currency transfer, customers must contact Monobank's customer support. The bank did not specify the exact timeline for verifying the submitted documents.

An important condition is that the transfer must be made in the currency of the recipient's card. Otherwise, the funds will automatically be credited to the hryvnia account, meaning it is impossible to transfer euros to a dollar card and vice versa.

PrivatBank has lowered the commission for currency transfers

The introduction of the new service by Monobank, which allows customers to transfer currency to their relatives, is an additional convenient solution for the bank's users. Such options provide convenient and fast financial transfers among family members, promoting the convenience and accessibility of banking services.

Monobank offers its customers the opportunity to easily and quickly transfer currency to their relatives, taking into account the convenience and speed of financial transfers. This is an additional step in ensuring accessibility and comfort for the bank's users.
