Pentagon expressed support for 'Trump's plan' and Biden's support for Ukraine.


The US government plans to ensure Ukraine's strong position on the international stage, said Pentagon representative Pete Rider. He emphasized that the White House is doing everything possible to present Ukraine in the best light in negotiations.
The US Department of Defense focuses on ensuring Ukraine's protection from Russian aggression, disregarding Donald Trump's plans to create a buffer zone in Ukraine.
Pete Rider stated that the priority is to ensure Ukraine's security and refused to speculate about the buffer zone. He called for close cooperation with colleagues from Ukraine and noted that Ukraine is an important partner for the US and Europe.
Pete Rider emphasized that Ukraine has the support of both parties in the US and mentioned that communication with partners will continue to protect Ukraine from Russian aggression. He refused to express his thoughts on future events, focusing on current tasks.
Recall that NATO representatives previously explained how Trump's actions could affect US interests in relations with Russia.
