According to the Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine, during the full-scale war, the criminal actions of the aggressor were recorded in the amount of more than 133 thousand.
This was reported by the Director of the Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Maryana Reva, during the presentation of the sociological study "Success or not? How Ukrainians evaluate the reform of law enforcement and support from the EU".
"Since the beginning of the invasion, the police have documented more than 133 thousand war crimes, information about which is sent to the relevant structures for the further preparation of materials for international judicial institutions," she said.
She noted that it is no less important not only to document the crime but also to do it correctly so that the materials find their place in international courts.
"Thanks to the training organized by EUAM, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have learned the correct documentation of war crimes since the start of the full-scale invasion," added Reva.
