Senators and congressmen trying to get closer to Trump through Musk - CNN.

Members of US Congress and senators from the Republican Party are trying to strengthen their positions near the newly elected president Donald Trump by involving the billionaire Elon Musk.
According to CNN, some legislators are trying to reach an agreement with Musk, who has a strong influence on Trump, regarding the election of the Republican Party leader in the Senate and other important issues. Musk also personally called Trump's allies for the same purpose.
The Republican Senate leader will be chosen on Wednesday by secret ballot.
Musk has already stated that he supports Republican Senator Rick Scott in the Senate leadership race.
Until now, the Senate majority leader has been Democrat Chuck Schumer, but after the November 5 elections, Republicans secured 53 seats in the Senate, while Democrats got 44.
