The cost of travel in electric transport and city buses in Vinnytsia will rise
The Vinnytsia City Council executive committee has decided to increase the fare for electric transport and city buses. According to the new tariffs, a trip in electric transport will cost 12 UAH, while in city buses - 15 UAH. The relevant request from the Vinnytsia Transport Company was fulfilled, and now the tariffs for passenger transportation and the cost of electronic tickets have been increased.
From December 15, the fare for trips in Vinnytsia trams and trolleybuses will be 12 UAH, while in municipal buses - 15 UAH.
Currently, the cost of travel in municipal electric transport is over 20 UAH per passenger. Therefore, the new prices for public transport are socially oriented.
In addition, the cost of monthly travel cards has been increased. An unlimited ticket will now cost 1125 UAH per month, while a ticket with a limited number of trips will cost 750 UAH for 130 trips. Students will pay 375 UAH, and pupils - 225 UAH.
It is worth noting that the increase in electricity and fuel tariffs is leading to rising prices for public transport. Fare prices may rise by up to 50%. 'Gluкom' examined what changes passengers may expect soon.
