Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko announced the launch of the first pilot project of twin cities aimed at supporting the energy resilience of Ukrainian communities. According to the minister's announcement, the cities of Hlobyne and Grafenwörth received 2 million euros for the installation of solar panels as part of the partnership.
Investment atlas to support regional energy projects
The Ministry of Energy, together with the regions, also created an Investment Atlas that includes over 150 regional energy projects. 'This is precisely why the Ministry of Energy initiated the strategic implementation of Energy Resilience Passports of the regions back in 2024, which highlight the individual potential of each region regarding various energy sources. The state has already developed tools to support these opportunities. The next step is to ensure the balanced development of all types of energy sources, taking into account regional specifics and potential,' Galushchenko said.
