Yesterday, a Russian kamikaze drone 'Shahed' equipped with a camera, a direct radio control system from the Russian Federation, and an artificial intelligence module was discovered in Ukraine for the first Time. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referencing expert Serhiy 'Flesh' Beskresnov.
It is noted that it has been known for a long time that such a drone is being developed. However, the first documented use of it has only been recorded now.
'The radio modem allows controlling the 'Shahed' from a distance of up to 150 km from the borders of Russia or the front line, or at greater distances if air relay stations are used in our airspace,' the expert noted.
On the night of June 17, the Russian Federation heavily attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 428 targets. The main target of the enemy was Kyiv. Hits were recorded in 10 locations, and debris fell in 34 locations. The air defense neutralized 428 enemy air attack means, with 262 shot down by fire means, and 166 lost location-wise.
Ukrainian forces were attacked by Russian drones and missiles, but successfully repelled the assault. This situation indicates an increase in the threat from Russia and the necessity to strengthen defense on the borders with the neighboring country.
