The National Bank of Ukraine has released new commemorative banknotes with a denomination of 500 Hryvnias, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Hryhorii Skovoroda. These banknotes can be purchased, but there are restrictions - an individual cannot buy more than 10 banknotes. The banknote has dimensions of 75x154 mm and was issued in 2022. It can be purchased in a special envelope, and the total print run amounts to 20,000 copies. The front side of the banknote features a portrait of Hryhorii Skovoroda and his silhouette with the inscription '300 Peace of Skovoroda', while the reverse side depicts the building of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
