Payments in June: Ukrainians were informed about the funding stage for pensions, subsidies, and sick leave.


State of funding for social payments from the Pension Fund of Ukraine
As of June 18, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has ensured significant funding for social payments, stated the press service of the PFU.
The largest amount of funds has been directed towards pension payments - 47.8 billion hryvnias. Funding is carried out through two main channels: via authorized banks totaling 39.6 billion UAH (82.8% of the total amount) and through JSC 'Ukrposhta' amounting to 8.2 billion UAH (17.2% of the total amount).
To support citizens in the housing and communal services sector, 1.193 million hryvnias has been allocated. These funds are directed to compensate for expenses on utilities and to provide benefits to socially vulnerable categories of the population.
Total volume of payments and services
The total amount of insurance payments amounted to 2356.2 million hryvnias, of which 1118.9 million hryvnias was directed to pay for sick leave. In June, 612.8 thousand services were provided to individuals who applied to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
It should be noted that Ukrainians are massively contesting the reduction of privileged pensions.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine continues to ensure social payments to citizens, including pensioners, as well as to provide support in the housing and communal services sector. Financial assistance is directed towards pensions, sick leave payments, and other needs of the population, demonstrating the government's high social responsibility towards its citizens.
As a result, the Pension Fund of Ukraine recently has significant financial capabilities to ensure pensions and other social payments, as well as support in the housing and communal services sector. The high number of insurance payments and services provided to citizens indicates the importance and role of the pension system in Ukraine, as well as the state's attention to social protection of the population.
