The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of December 21, 2024.
Russian losses in the war as of December 21, 2024
As of December 21, the Russian Federation has lost in the war against Ukraine:
personnel - about 772280 (+1860) persons,
tanks - 9594 (+10) units,
armored fighting vehicles - 19841 (+18) units,
artillery systems - 21252 (+32) units,
MLRS - 1256 (+0) units,
air defense systems - 1027 (+1) units,
airplanes - 369 (+0) units,
helicopters - 329 (+0) units,
operational-tactical UAVs - 20685 (+85),
cruise missiles - 2947 (+4),
ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 31891 (+98) units,
special equipment - 3662 (+0).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of December 21
- In the Black Sea, there are three enemy ships that are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are six enemy ships, of which three are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 25 missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage through the Kerch Strait was made by:
- to the Black Sea - three vessels, one of which continued moving towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - four vessels, two of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The full-scale war in Ukraine is now on its 1032nd day.
