Wizz Air's CEO, József Váradi, stated: 'We have come a long way in the Middle East and are proud of what we have achieved. This was a tough decision, but it turned out to be the right one in this situation.'

The company operated in the UAE for almost 6 years, using 12 Airbus A321 aircraft. Now, Wizz Air plans to expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in some Western European countries, including Austria, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
