WSJ: Trump proposes European troops to oversee the ceasefire in Ukraine.

U.S. President Donald Trump discussed his vision for resolving the conflict in Ukraine with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, The Wall Street Journal reports.
It is important to have a strong and well-armed Ukraine after a possible cessation of hostilities.
The U.S. President rejected the idea of Ukraine joining NATO, but emphasized that Europe must play an active role in defending and supporting Ukraine. Trump proposed placing European troops on Ukrainian territory to monitor the ceasefire regime. American troops would not participate in such an arrangement.
I call on European leaders to increase pressure on China to influence the Kremlin to end the conflict.
Trump also discussed the possibility of using tariffs as a tool to influence China. This could help in ending the conflict. Such an agreement could be supported by the U.S.
