Heating in Kyiv will be turned off within 3-4 days: when the process will start.

Starting from March 24, the process of disconnecting residential buildings from heating begins in Kyiv. According to Kyivteploenergo, it will take about 3-4 days due to the size of the heating system in the capital. This was the third heating season for a city that continues to be a border area in wartime conditions.
Despite the difficulties, municipal services ensured stable heating supply for 10,000 homes. The cost of heating remained unchanged - 1654.41 UAH/Gcal. The average temperature for the season was +1.1°C.
Energy-efficient homes managed to save up to 30% on heating, which is approximately 500 UAH savings for an apartment of 50 m².
During the season, more than 30 repair works were carried out, and there were also 13 cases of providing hospitals and residential buildings with heating using mobile boiler houses.
After the current heating season ends, the city will prepare for the next one. Planned activities include maintenance work, reconstruction and repair of equipment, as well as accumulating fuel and material reserves. By 2025, modernization of 12 sections of the heating network is planned.
It is also worth mentioning when heating will be turned off in other cities.
