Zelensky announced new formats for supporting brigades and staffing units.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address, spoke about the meeting of the Staff, tasks for Ukrainian diplomats, and organizational changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today I held a meeting of the Staff. Many reports. Regarding supplies to the troops – this is our weapon, all procurements, contracts. All of this is in place. Supply is available. We need to accelerate deliveries and need more of such systems, such weapons that will allow us to save more lives of our soldiers, our people. More orders for drones. More investments in the development of robotic systems. And more supplies of basic weapons. All necessary assignments are in place. Our industry has potential,” Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, there are countries ready to invest in the production of Ukrainian weapons, particularly in Europe.
Our diplomats have clear tasks. We need funds from our partners for Ukrainian defense to increase. In particular, this should be a KPI – key performance indicators of Ukrainian diplomacy,” the president noted.
The president also reported on the military's briefing, which discussed issues related to the front and staffing of brigades.
We are preparing new formats for supporting brigades and staffing units. I have tasked to present the details to the public next week,” Zelensky stressed.
Earlier, the president held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, where the formation of corps in the Armed Forces was discussed.
I held a meeting of the Staff. Among the issues – the formation of corps in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are specifics regarding this. We will continue to strengthen our army. Combat brigades and the proper military experience will be scaled. Based on the first identified brigades, other systemic steps will be possible; there is no alternative to modernizing the military system,” Zelensky noted.
The meeting also presented the new commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty.
